What is FEEL

FEEL (Facilitated Equine Experiential Learning)® can help you by providing clear, and concise insights for your life. It's a restorative experience where you will connect with nature, horses and yourself. Horses have an advanced ability to communicate. When engaged many people will experience authentic interactions with the horses and themselves. Horses can take us straight to the heart of the matter and guide you to overcome blocks and limiting patterns of behavior to regain balance in your life.

Bio

About me

My passion for horses started early in life, I was the kid that had horse pictures all over her bedroom wall.

In my late teens, I finally got to interact with horses when good fortune landed a horse ranch right down the road. My first horse encounter was with Dance, a stunning Appaloosa, who I rode for almost a year and experienced a deep connection with.

Unfortunately, the owners of Dance relocated her to another ranch and I didn't find another horse with who I shared such a strong connection, so for many years, while my passion was still there, I took a break from spending time with horses.

I've worked as a Property Manager for the last 15 years, and although I have learned many valuable life skills my heart yearned something more.

A few years back I decided a big life change was needed. I was ready to live a life that my heart desires. That’s when I knew it was time to return to the kind of joy I felt with Dance.

A few months after this, I found Horse Spirit Connections through a web search and emailed to talk to someone about the FEEL (Facilitated Equine experimental learning)® program. I knew right away this was my calling and next journey. I signed up for a 3-day weekend workshop to experience it firsthand. The weekend was so transformational and so healing of self that I received my confirmation on so many levels this is what my heart desired.

I' took the 6 month training program to be certified to carry this work out into the world. I look forward to the next part of this journey of sharing it with others.

I had my very first FEEL session with Monica and it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. I came into it already familiar with the concept and with an extensive background with horses and therapy/spirituality. This experience still managed to absolutely blow my mind.
